A solo Let's Play done by Ramsis (along with The Vespor doing commentary during the playthrough) as we showcase the sixth in our 16-Bit Wrestling Video Game Retrospective. Game number 6 is Saturday Night Slam Masters for the Super Nintendo. WOO! We finally got a GOOD game right? Tune in to find out how GOOD it is. All the reviews say it's great so it must be good right? Tune in to find out.

Based on the Capcom released arcade game of the same name, you choose one of 8 wrestlers and fight your way through all the opponents and two bosses to take claim of the world title! Seems easy enough right? Right? Tune in to find out.

Has a four player at once mode which was unique to the SNES as not many games took advantage of the 4 player options on what is normally a 2 player system. Two modes of play, single match or battle royal where you and up to 3 other friends can have at it in the ring.

The game connects heavily to the Street Fighter and Final Fight universe which in itself is connected together. Has Haggar from Final Fight and relatives and connections to other Street Fighter characters making for a very well tuned universe game. But it is mostly just a fighting game more than a wrestling game. You do a few unique to your wrestler super moves, beat up the other, when the energy is down to zero you can pin the other to get the victory. Rinse, lather, repeat. And it gets harder and harder as you have to keep on doing this. Yay!

We found 12, yes 12, 16-Bit Wrestling Video Games to showcase during our Season 5 retrospective and this is going to be a ride in the ring you definitely don't want to miss and won't forget. For both good and bad reasons. But that's how it usually is in these looking back on games from the present.
