It marks the beginning of the Jewish High Holy Days and serves as a reminder of God's sovereignty and the call to prepare our hearts for spiritual renewal. As Christians, we can see this feast as an invitation to awaken our faith and be vigilant in our walk with Yeshua, the Christ, as we await His return. The sound of the trumpet can be viewed as a call to repentance and a reminder of the joy and hope found in the promise of eternal life through Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 "For the LORD himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of GoD, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air."
