JESUS: MY TRUE AND LASTING PEACE

14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,

You know guys, with everything that is taking place within this past week, there are a lot of people that are seeking peace. A piece that comes not from something but Someone. Unfortunately, there are so many people out there who are searching for peace the wrong way, that instead of peace they're finding even more sorrow, stress, and hurt, and it breaks my heart. Even we as Christians we’re doing the same thing, and we need to be reminded of just WHO gives us this peace and how we can obtain it. I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional, especially this first one is so challenging to my heart right now, and I had to share it with you. Please read this question carefully, and I pray that God will challenge and speak to your heart through it.

When are you tempted to seek a peaceful circumstance more than peace with God?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things God showed me from this morning scripture, on what it means to truly have peace with God, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share, will encourage you to know in Whom you can have that lasting peace. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will help you see the Someone who gives you that lasting peace, and that you rest in That peace He offers.

How does the reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice allow you to rest in Him today?

I pray that if you’re trying to seek a peaceful circumstance more than peace with God, that God will convict your heart of this, that you will turn your heart and life over to Him and allow God to give you the true and lasting peace that you're seeking. Realize guys, that peace doesn't come from something, but Someone and that Someone is Jesus Christ, so don't be afraid to cry out to Him with whatever you're dealing with. Lastly but most important, I pray that if you don't know Christ is savior, if you're trying to find peace in a bottle, pills, sex, or anything other than Jesus, that today will be the day that you will admit your sin, accept the free gift of the true peace that only Jesus offers, and do so today. https://www.ccphilly.org/do-you-know-...
