Back Pain, Progress & Family Cleanup

☕ Sunday Morning Coffee – My favorite way to start the week with all of you.

This week has been a tough one for me. Out of nowhere I’ve been dealing with some rough back pain that’s made even the simple things — getting out of bed, climbing out of the car — feel like a challenge. I don’t know if I tweaked something, or if it’s from sitting, or maybe even too much soda lately (I’ve been wondering if that plays a part). Either way, it’s been a struggle, but I’m showing up and sharing it with you.

On the food front, I’ve been mostly on plan — a couple of fries and a bite of my granddaughter’s ice cream on Friday (I’m not going to beat myself up over it). Consistency is what matters, and I call this week a win overall.

We’ve also been working on family life and decluttering: my daughter’s been going through our kitchen and clearing out years’ worth of stuff we don’t use, while I’ve been running loads to the dump. Since our trash service only takes one can and nothing extra, we’re figuring out how to manage with a second can and regular dump runs. It feels good to make progress and get things in order.

I can’t tell you how much I look forward to these Sunday streams. Sharing coffee and conversation with all of you lifts my spirits every week. 💛
