21-22 September 2025. Partial Solar Eclipse 29 degrees Virgo.

This eclipse occurs right at the end of the flexible and practical Earth sign Virgo, where we make final adjustments before moving into the sociable half of the zodiac when the Sun reaches Libra. Virgo rules work, daily routines, organisational systems, pets, purification and detoxification, and mental dexterity.

Saturn in Pisces and Neptune in Aries are conjunct, and oppose this eclipse. This implies that we are checking our routines (e.g. in healthcare or our jobs) for how effective they are in getting us to where we want to go, and whether or not we have imprisoned ourselves in pointless limited lifestyles. Also, we may be looking at dropping uninspiring activities and burdens, and instead reimagining how we could, in a more grounded way, express such things as mystical artistry and insights, and high-frequency healing methodologies. We also could be developing our discernment around the truth of our lives and people around us, seeing through gaslighting and confusion, dropping escapist activities. Choices made now demonstrate serious commitments which may have a lasting impact.

This can help us prepare to utilise the Saturn/Neptune conjunction in Aries on 20 February, where it is indicated that whole new pioneering practical steps start towards our dreams, and mystical and artistic adventures.

Taking stock of our mental health is another Virgo theme, suggesting beginning routines around processing worries, anxieties and fears. Decluttering physically and on all levels. Clearing the decks. This could also involve releasing patterns of saviour/martyrdom and ensuing codependency and resentment. Stopping giving more than we can offer, and instead tending to our own garden. Checking "medicine" that harms too, e.g. in food, drink or tablets.

In eclipse periods, we can get flashes of inspiration, or at a higher self level, our lives typically course-corrects to a resonant trajectory for ourselves.

There is a Grand Trine in Air happening too, a fantastic launchpad for revolutionary and visionary ideas (like the Gaia Contract linked to below), and powerful manifestations. Yods to Venus and Mars indicate key choices in relationships based on resonance.
