How to explain piritual hierarchy as spheres

When we observe things from a hierarchical perspective, it is easy to think that higher is better. Seeing our spiritual development, the universe, from a perspective of spheres where one is the environment to the other, all spheres become equally important. We are all part of a great whole and the smallest molecule, the micro cosmos, is as important as the macro. We are most closely surrounded by the lowest order of angels, (angels) who are surrounded by archangels who are surrounded by the next order who are surrounded by the next and so on. Like a Russian Matryoshka doll.
