Jimmy Kimmel pulled off air indefinitely over Charlie Kirk comments

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel’s program ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ has been taken off the air indefinitely.

A spokesperson from Disney-owned ABC in the US confirmed the show has been shelved after comments he made.

During Monday night’s program, Mr Kimmel suggested Charlie Kirk’s suspected assassin could be a pro-Trump Republican.

“We had some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Mr Kimmel said.
