Is The New Covenant About Salvation - Discussing My Upcoming Debate Sept 27th

So this is discussing the very basic argument of my upcoming debate. his is pretty much what it boils down to. Do you have to be in covenant with God to be saved? Is the New Covenant about Salvation or is it merely sociological?

I think it is absolutely crazy that Seminaries do not teach that the New Covenant is about salvation. The reason why Free Grace and Dispensationalism teach the things they do is because they argue that being in the Kingdom of God and being in Covenant with God have nothing to do with salvation. In fact, most people, except for calvinists, who teach Once Saved Always Saved basically do so based on the same readings. And if not, they are mostly being inconsistent.
