The glitz, glamour, and unbridled decadence of the 80s are back in Yakuza 0.

Fight like hell through Tokyo and Osaka with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and series regular Goro Majima. Play as Kazuma Kiryu and discover how he finds himself in a world of trouble when a simple debt collection goes wrong and his mark winds up murdered. Then, step into the silver-toed shoes of Goro Majima and explore his “normal” life as the proprietor of a cabaret club.

Switch between three different fighting styles instantaneously and beat up all manner of goons, thugs, hoodlums, and lowlifes. Take combat up a notch by using environmental objects such as bicycles, sign posts, and car doors for bone-crunching combos and savage take-downs.
Fighting is not the only way to kill time in 1988’s Japan: from discos and hostess clubs to classic SEGA arcades, there are tons of distractions to pursue in the richly detailed, neon-lit world.

Chapter 14 - Unwavering Bonds:

Kiryu hides Makoto with the homeless of West Park before meeting Tachibana in Little Asia, but Shibusawa’s men storm the hideout using intel taken from Oda’s body. After fending off the attackers, a deadly assassin named Lao Gui ambushes them, shooting Kiryu and abducting Tachibana on Dojima’s orders. Elder Chen treats Kiryu’s wounds and urges him to rescue Tachibana, prompting a tense reunion with Nishikiyama, who refuses to kill Kiryu despite pressure from Shibusawa’s goons. Together, Kiryu and Nishiki track Tachibana to an abandoned building where Kuze and his men are torturing him for Makoto’s location. Players battle through the hideout in brutal street fights, only to find Tachibana mortally wounded by Yoneda and Kuze, who reveals Dojima framed Kiryu for murder and that a Tojo traitor plans to sell the Empty Lot to the Omi Alliance. Outside in the Empty Lot, Tachibana dies in Makoto’s arms, leaving her devastated and Kiryu furious, vowing to destroy the Dojima Family if they harm her.

Chapter 15 - Scattered Light:

Majima travels to Kamurocho with Sagawa, who reveals Shimano’s plan to sell the Empty Lot to the Omi Alliance, giving them the resources to seize Tokyo while making Shimano the next Tojo chairman. Brought before Shimano, Majima learns he was manipulated from the start—Shimano wants him to exploit Makoto’s trust to secure the Empty Lot in exchange for sparing her life and reinstating Majima in the family. Players roam Kamurocho for leads, clashing with Shimano’s men and confronting Kashiwagi at Kazama’s office in a fierce fight for information. Directed to Serena, Majima battles Nishikiyama, who admits he helped save Makoto but refuses to betray her location. Nishiki reveals that after Tachibana’s death, Makoto disappeared on her own, leaving Kiryu and Nishiki behind as they buried her brother in the Empty Lot. Following a hunch, Majima searches the Empty Lot and spots Makoto on a nearby rooftop—now beginning to regain her eyesight—marking a pivotal reunion and a shift in her fate.
