Standards or Quotas? The Real Cost of DEI

When a house is burning, do you care about quotas—or do you care if the firefighter can carry you out alive?

Across America, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs (DEI) are being pushed in firefighting, law enforcement, the military, medicine, and even aviation. But when standards are lowered to meet identity quotas, lives are put at risk.

In this episode, we examine real-world examples:

Firefighter standards reduced so more women could pass.

Philadelphia Police lowering fitness thresholds.

The Army rewriting its combat test after high female failure rates.

The FBI’s pull-up controversy in Congress.

FAA air traffic controller hiring overhauled to meet diversity targets.

Medical schools reducing MCAT requirements.

I’ve been through cancer, open-heart surgery, diabetes, and strokes. Not once did I care about the gender or race of my doctors. I cared if they were the best. Shouldn’t that be the standard in every profession?

Equal opportunity matters. But lowering standards to guarantee outcomes puts everyone in danger.
