The Paradox of Infinite Copies 👯

If the universe is truly infinite, then another bizarre consequence emerges: you are not unique. In an endless space with a finite number of ways particles can be arranged in a given volume, any specific arrangement—including the exact configuration of particles that makes up you, your life, and the entire planet Earth—must repeat.

This means that in the unimaginably vast expanse of an infinite cosmos, there are an infinite number of "yous" living identical lives. Furthermore, there would also be infinite versions where you made slightly different choices, leading to every possible outcome of your life playing out somewhere in the cosmos. While a fascinating thought, this concept of "eternal recurrence" raises deep philosophical questions about identity and free will.
