Love Your Enemies? How should Christians respond when the world is filled with hate?

The assassination of Charlie Kirk shocked the world — not only because of the brutal act itself, but because of the chilling response from many who celebrated his death and called for more violence.

As Christians, our first reaction may be anger, rage, or a desire for revenge. But Jesus calls His followers to something higher: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44).

In this message, we explore:
* Why hate and persecution should not surprise us (John 15:18–19)
* The unseen spiritual battle raging behind the scenes (Ephesians 6:12)
* How Jesus died not only for us, but even for those who oppose Him
* Why returning hate with hate will never lead to salvation for those who are lost
* Why truth and love must always go together

It isn’t easy — but this is the way of Christ: to respond to hate with love, to pray for those who persecute us, and to shine as lights in a dark and deceived world.

🙏 May this message challenge you not to grow bitter, but to walk in the love of Jesus — praying that even those who hate us will encounter Him, repent, and be saved.
