Brave young girl with incredibly rare disease left with half a brain after lifesaving operation

A brave young girl was left with half a functioning brain after an operation to save her life.

Lilly-May Harris is just four-years-old but has already undergone a major operation, after being diagnosed with Rasmussen syndrome. The ultra-rare condition affects just one in 1.8 million people and left Lilly-May suffering from seizures which grew in frequency and intensity.
