An 18-year-old nappy-wearing dog has become a viral sensation after his heartbroken owner filmed his final day before being put to sleep - enjoying sweet treats and touring the neighbourhood.

Kira Beltran wanted to treat her beloved ‘best friend’ Gizmo, who is deaf and partially-sighted, to one last day enjoying his favourite snacks from his usual watering holes and one last walk.

The tear-jerking footage shows the pair sat in the car while 18-year-old university student Kira drives him to Dutch Bros for a puppuccino - a cup filled with whipped cream and dog treats.
