Andrew Weidemann is one of GPA's founding directors and is highly regarded across the Australian grains industry for his forthright leadership and long-term commitment to grower representation and advocacy.

Andrew was an integral part of the process which saw GPA take up responsibility, on behalf of growers, to replace the former peak national grains industry representative body – the Grains Council of Australia.

While he specialises in RD&E matters, and plays a critical role in GPA's strategic oversight of the GRDC's investment of grower funds, his expertise and experience also extends to other core industry issues important to growers' commercial success such as; trade and market access; market competition and supply chains; grower advocacy and government relations; farm safety; sustainability; and access to chemicals and farm technology.

Rachel Hallos is NFU VICE PRESIDENT. Rachel is an upland farmer on a Yorkshire Water tenanted farm in the South Pennines. In the last 20 years the farm has evolved from a milk producer/retailer unit, to a farm that focusses on their beef herd, hill sheep and environmental outcomes. They have also diversified with a holiday let and contracting business. The business has grown through their ability to change and also by collaborating with their landlord on water management, heather regeneration and hay meadow restoration.Rachel was elected to the position of NFU Vice President in February 2024.

Jenny Olds, Owner Cornhill Farm. Award winning Cornhill Farm has been run by the Olds family since 1912. Today they run a flock of free range hens and grow cereals on the farm to feed them. They have 17,000 hens and their aim is to get as many hens as possible out on the range. They passionately believe the quality of the range ensures their girls have the best life possible The deep colour of the yolk – that comes from happy hens, eating worms and grubs from the fields.
