Long an important wood for industrials needs, and increasingly looked as an alternative to fossil fuels, scientists thought they had a solution to revive the chestnut through genetic engineering - but how wise of a decision is it to let tree pollen spread by winds, bees and other insects, and what might happen to other trees?
