Israeli troops deep into Gaza City, intensifying massacres, with Nora Barrows-Friedman

Israel is intensifying its airstrikes on Gaza City, totally destroying large areas and massacring entire families as the Israeli army begins a full-scale invasion deep into the city.

Palestinians are being forced to move south once again – though hundreds of thousands remain in Gaza City.

This Israeli assault comes as the 80th session of the UN General Assembly opens this month in New York, placing Gaza at the center of international attention – if not urgent and effective action to punish and prevent the continuation of what an independent UN Commission of Inquiry finally recognized this week as a genocide.
