The Guardian answers the call above Neptune in Lightfall's opening mission, First Contact. Boarding Calus's Shadow Legion ship, the task begins with sabotaging reactors and fighting through Cabal keymasters to escape. After crashing to Neomuna, the Guardian takes the fight to the streets, harnesses Strand for the first time, and pushes back the Shadow Legion. With Osiris in tow, new allies Rohan and Nimbus of the Cloud Striders emerge, and the Veil's importance is revealed as the Witness plan begins to unfold.
