Rumor: Shang-Chi Getting Killed Off in Avengers: Doomsday | Marvel Wants to Reset MCU

According to the latest rumors, Shang-Chi actor Simu Lui is upset on the set of Avengers: Doomsday because his character will be killed off.

Simu Lui was evidentially under the impression that he would be getting multiple starring roles within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, but hasn’t heard much on a Shang-Chi 2 since the first movie failed to break even at the box office. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had previously said the MCU will sort-of reset after Avengers: Secret Wars and it’s speculated that would not only entail recasting characters such as Iron Man, but also scrapping the Marvel properties that didn’t resonate with audiences.
