BURNED LAND wandering jordan craters

Miles of jagged rock, twisted lava fields, and a trail that feels more like another planet than Oregon’s high desert.

Rough edges, black stone, and the kind of silence that comes with a place that hasn’t changed in three thousand years.

We drove into Jordan Craters, followed the lava flows, and stood at the edge of volcanic domes that looked like they could wake up any moment. The map showed a crater. What it didn’t show was the weight of standing in its shadow.

This is a Ridge Craft story about scale, fire, and what raw earth can remind you of—if you’re willing to get close.

Thanks for watching RidgeCraft.
