Your favorite coworker was dead all along! Wait. No. "Ghosting" actually refers to workers who simply vanish from jobs without giving their employers notice. “It seems to happen more than in the past,” said Taste of Belgium owner Jean Francois Flechet. “They know it’s a buyer’s market for employees. They know that, ‘Oh, I’m hungover today. I’m not going to show up to work and I’ll get a job somewhere else. I can start tomorrow.’”
