The Road to 100 TH/s – Ep.3: Solving Electrical Challenges in the Apartment

In Episode 3 of The Road to 100 TH/s, I hit a new kind of challenge: the apartment’s electrical layout.

After moving the miners from the office to the living room, I discovered that the breaker panel labels didn’t match the actual outlets. Through some trial and error (and a few tripped breakers), I found a way to safely distribute power across multiple circuits, keep all the ASICs hashing, and maintain airflow without overheating the room.

In this episode, I walk you through the setup, share how I worked around these electrical hurdles, and show how the fleet is now fully operational while staying within the apartment’s power limits. A few clever hacks and careful planning go a long way — and the journey toward 100 TH/s continues!
