A local doctor who accidentally removed a woman's kidney in 2016 thinking it was a cancerous mass will not lose his medical license, according our news partners at The Palm Beach Post. Dr. Ramon Vasquez will instead pay a $3,000 fine as well as other penalties for removing the kidney during surgery at Wellington Regional Medical Center.
