Tyler Robinson Says He Killed Charlie Kirk Because He ‘Spreads Too Much Hate’ | Death Penalty Sought

Officials say Tyler Robinson, 22, admitted he killed conservative activist Charlie Kirk because he believed Kirk “spreads too much hate.” Robinson has been formally charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child. Prosecutors have announced their intent to seek the death penalty. Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray called Kirk’s killing “an American tragedy” as Robinson remains held without bail.
