The Gift of a Father

This video is a heartfelt tribute to my dad, Albert John, a man who overcame hardship, broke a family curse, and left behind a legacy of wisdom that continues to guide me and my children today.
From quitting school to support his mother, to serving in Korea, climbing the corporate ladder, and later starting his own business, my father’s life was a lesson in resilience and grit. Along the way, he shared timeless sayings like:

• “Wishing won’t get you far—work will.”
• “Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.”
Through his example, I learned that it’s never too late to start something new, that hard work gives life meaning, and that real love shows up in everyday actions.
