Personal liberty is a fundamental constitutional right in Ireland. Any restriction of that liberty, carried out without lawful authority, constitutes a serious constitutional violation. State employees responsible for such restrictions may face life imprisonment if convicted.

Every citizen has the right to go directly to the High Court without incurring costs, to challenge unlawful restrictions and to hold those in authority accountable. The law is clear: citizens are entitled to equality before the law, freedom of movement, and full protection and vindication of their rights.

The Circuit Court holds the power to impose life sentences on individuals who unlawfully restrict another’s personal liberty, including through deception that causes a person to believe they are legally obliged to comply.

Stand up, exercise your rights, and use the case law that affirms and protects your liberty.

Please support and share my GoFundMe campaign to help me provide a full-time Justice Facilitator service in Ireland’s Four Courts, the Criminal Courts of Justice, and beyond. This work will empower people across the country to access justice through hundreds of District Courts, over 6,000 Peace Commissioners, and more than 70 Judges.
