North Head Lighthouse at Cape Disappointment | Unbelievable Drone Footage

I took a visit to Cape Disappointment State Park located on the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington. The name "Cape Disappointment" was given by Captain John Meares in 1788 after he failed to locate the Columbia River due to shallow sandbars, according to the Washington State Parks. What is so great about this park is that it has not 1, but 2 functioning lighthouses. In this video, I hike to North Head Lighthouse which offers sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach Peninsula, Columbia River Bar and the northern Oregon Coast.

As usual, I brought my drone with me and I was able to capture amazing footage of the lighthouse. It's a relatively short, but beautiful trail.
