Throughout Christian history there has always been false prophets, false movements of the Lord and false claims. All of which came and went like tumbleweeds blowing through towns and forever forgotten, and rightly so.

However along with all of that there have been real men and women of God who stuck to the word and prayer. They did not follow movements. They did not give their ears over to false voices and "any minute now" prophecies. All of which never came to pass.

They kept a steady, faithful, pure continuance in the Presence of Jesus Christ until the end, never waivering. They were quiet, unassuming people of few words if any. Yet they could walk into any place and whole rooms stood still. They kept themselves from running with religious crowds, they rejected and shunned any attention. Things, movements and individuals can quickly become idols if we do not discern them instantly by the Spirit of the Lord.

"For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word." - Isaiah 66:2.

Seek to be this kind of person, and walk with the Lord in continual consistency in His Presence. This is what He wants and who He sees.
