Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment - Release Date Trailer

Nintendo has given more information about the next Hyrule Warriors title called Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. Princess Zelda and her Zonai allies must do battle against Ganon thousands of years in the past, where she’ll be able to use Zonai devices in combat and team up with allies for sync-strikes. The story for Age of Imprisonment is directly connected to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, so if you haven’t played it, you might not fully understand what’s going on in Age of Imprisonment’s story. Although that won’t affect the gameplay, which is markedly different than Tears of the Kingdom and consistent with the past Hyrule Warriors games. It also has two-player split-screen co-op multiplayer along with Game Share, meaning you can play on two different Switch systems even if only one person has the game.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment releases for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6, 2025.
