President Trump is beginning to learn that his preferred strategy of threatening tariffs and sanctions on other nations does not work with other governments except the G-7 puppets and EU, and a few other places like Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

The rest of the world has decided that the US is a waste of time, and is increasing trade with other non-US countries.

Even worse, they are not even buying US debt at Treasury auctions. When the US has a deficit of $35 trillion and it is climbing, that is a major problem.

My guess is that Trump is learning that the US’s position and international reputation are not nearly as strong as he thought it was, and he is desperate. He needs something, anything, to distract Americans from Epstein and the worsening economic numbers which will be coming down the pike in the next year before the midterms.

Thanks. I've been reading " The Great War of Civilization" by Robert Fisk. It was published 20 years ago in 2005. With regards to Palestine/ Israel it is like reading déja vu. Only that some of the characters have changed but nothing else. It has just gotten more intense.
