The research comes from Italian scientists Filippo Biondi and Corrado Malanga. Their findings, presented in 2025, were dramatic. They announced that beneath Khafre’s pyramid they had detected eight massive vertical structures — described as pillars or shafts — extending some 600 meters deep into the earth.
