NEET Aspirant (19) Brutally Killed by Cattle Smugglers, Head Crushed — Mob Burns Vehicle

Gorakhpur (U.P.): A shocking case has emerged from Maua Chaapi village in Pipraich, where a 19-year-old NEET aspirant was brutally murdered by cattle smugglers on Monday night.

According to police, around 10–15 smugglers in three vehicles reached the student’s warehouse around 11:30 pm to loot cattle. On being alerted by his cousin, the student rushed to the spot on a scooter along with nearly a dozen villagers.

The group confronted the smugglers, who then overpowered the student, forced him into a DCM vehicle and killed him. His body, with the head crushed, was found nearly 4 km away from his house after 4.5 hours of frantic searching by family members.

Following the murder, enraged locals caught one smuggler, beat him brutally and set his vehicle on fire. When police intervened, clashes broke out; SP North Jitendra Srivastava and Pipraich SHO were injured in the scuffle. The injured smuggler was later admitted to hospital.

Police recovered 2–3 cattle from the smugglers’ pickup. On Tuesday morning, villagers staged a road blockade on the Gorakhpur–Pipraich road, demanding justice. Heavy police deployment, including forces from four stations and PAC, has been stationed at the site, with senior officials trying to pacify the agitated family and villagers.
