What if "The Blob" remake was rescored with different music?
This is my rescoring of a scene from the 1988 remake of The Blob. I am rescoring the entire movie as part of my the upcoming album "Horror Rescored 4".
The music in this track accompanies a heartfelt scene early on in the film after the main character, Meg, witnesses her date get murdered by the Blob. No one believes her, including her family. She is at home and being consoled by her mother in a heartfelt moment.
The music heard here is all my original ideas and bares no resemblance to the music in the movie - no copyrighted or existing material from the original score is present. Ironically, the original music heard in this scene was r "rip-off" of the love theme from the movie Capricorn One".
I approached it as if I had been the original composer hired.
