DIY Taurus TX 22FRT. Tutorial on how I made it for a penny!

In this video, I go over how I made my own FRT for the Taurus TX 22 platform. I was very curious about the FRT after seeing a few videos on it. Once I looked up what it was, I realized it was definitely overpriced at $125 for a small sliver of metal so I decided to make my own. I looked for whatever materials I had lying around in my toolbox and I found a penny. I use the factory trigger reset as a template then drilled a hole through it and remove material to make it match the factory reset. I left extra material on the bottom instead of rounding it like the factory part and that’s what allows the trigger to be forced forward rather than reset Downwards.
