15 Years Ago Today I Got Out of Federal Prison

Fifteen years ago, I walked out of federal prison with nothing but uncertainty. At 42, I was starting over—living in a halfway house, working a job for the first time since I was a kid, broke, with my confidence and marriage both on shaky ground.
