Arrest at TPUSA HQ: 19-year-old nabbed after wrecking Charlie Kirk memorial

Phoenix police arrested 19-year-old Ryder Corral after he tore through the Charlie Kirk memorial outside Turning Point USA’s headquarters; witnesses tackled and held him until officers arrived. Police say he’ll be booked on criminal damage and disorderly conduct; no serious injuries were reported.

The incident happened outside the TPUSA complex near 48th Street and Beverly Road, where a large crowd has been gathering to mourn Kirk. Local outlets and on-scene footage show Corral stomping flowers and flags before being restrained and taken away in handcuffs.

The vandalism comes days after Kirk’s assassination at an Utah campus event; suspect Tyler Robinson, 22, is in custody as the investigation continues. A public memorial for Kirk is planned at State Farm Stadium in Glendale next Sunday.
