The Ego Might Resist Your Alignment with the Heart

Noticing your resistance helps you to let go even more deeply. Most of us are doing all kinds of things when we feel that - usually going to old habits of comforting or distracting ourselves. But that is not going to help. It’s about feeling it if you need to, and releasing any pent up emotion if it arises. But then you can start to navigate out of it. To see it and release it calmly with awareness. To sit quietly and breathe. To calm the mind and body.

It takes practice to be able to do this, but it’s entirely possible to release it with ease. Just know that sometimes it might be more relentless than others, and you can take that as a compliment - because that is usually when you have made huge strides, going deeper into your divine union and surrender. Truly following your intuition and your heart on the deepest level. It makes the ego uncomfortable. It has to let go of control, and it will act up a bit. It will cause fear reactions in the body. It will set off your emotions sometimes. Let it all come up and out in a safe way, and in a quiet setting alone. But then see it for what it is, comfort it even, and release it.

We are making great strides right now, but we are also purging out every last bit of fear and darkness to be seen, loved, understood, and aligned in our divine light.

Be patient and loving with yourself! You are doing amazing!
