Grim Dawn - Commander Lucius Kicked My Tail

We head down into the Fort Ikon armory to deal with Commander Lucius and get the dynamite we need to clear the gates. But Lucius isn't parting with it easily and we get thoroughly stomped by him. Will I prevail or will he block my way forward?
