09/1425 - St. Matthew - Matthew 9:9-13

In “Amazing and Outrageous Mercy,” we see Jesus call Matthew, a despised tax collector, to be His disciple. The message reveals Jesus does not avoid sinners but seeks them out, changing them from trouble to into His witnesses. Just as Matthew left his tax booth to follow Jesus, we are called to follow Him, bringing His mercy into the places where it might be least expected.
