When anime comes to life

Reina sat in a dark room at night, lit only by the cold light of her laptop.

The voices from the screen seemed too real,
as if they were coming from right behind her, until suddenly the character turned his head... right at her.

She blinked, and he blinked back.
Taking off her headphones, Reina heard a whisper coming not from the screen, but from the room:
"I can see you..."

The screen began to flicker, and the character's figure slowly crawled out. In a panic, she slammed the laptop shut. Silence.

But a voice whispered right behind her:
"Don't turn it off... I'm almost there..."

Reina slowly turned around... and in the darkness, someone was already looking at her.
