Comparison: PS2 Texture Smoothing in Vagrant Story (PS1) -No Commentary-

I am using the Avermedia TV Box to capture this footage over S-Video quality, because you really notice the difference on standard definition signals, and CRT. The Texture smoothing feature on the PS2 is using the PS2's hardware to turn on bilinear filtering in PS1 games, a feature the PS1 lacked. Sometimes there is a drastic difference in visuals, while other times it doesn't make a huge difference, depending on the game. It doesn't fix the warping issues in the games, but can clean up some pixelated, ugly textures.
