Ki Tavo - Enlightened Societal Interest

Deuteronomy 27 describes a series of curses that God instructed the people of Israel to pronounce against themselves if they ignored God's Law, but in reality, they didn't even need to pronounce them. God's Law is the manual for life as a human being. If you ignore it, you will suffer negative consequences. Our society has degraded as far as it has because we rejected God's Law as our standard of behavior, both public and private.
