A new documentary has been released about Israel's imprisonment of Doctor Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of a hospital in northern Gaza.
His nearly year-long detention is symbolic of Israel's attacks on healthcare in the Strip.
Abu Safiya was detained on December the 27th, when Israeli forces raided the Kamal Adwan Hospital.
His lawyer has repeatedly said he is being tortured and held in solitary confinement.
In March, an Israeli court upheld the paediatrician's detention without charge for another six months.

Through first-hand testimony, archival footage and on-the-ground reporting, Al Jazeera's Fault Lines team has investigated Doctor Abu Safiya’s unlawful detention.

Amel Guettatfi is the director of the Fault Lines documentary.
