About Fra:
Fra McDonald s the founder of Shadow Hunters NI, a Belfast-based paranormal investigations team established in 2014. For over a decade, He’s been investigating haunted locations across Northern Ireland, combining modern technology—such as EMF meters, EVP recorders, and night-vision cameras—with traditional techniques like séance, scrying, and dowsing.

Shadow Hunters NI also runs public and private paranormal events at well-known sites including Crumlin Road Gaol, Blackstaff Mill, Belfast Barge, and Downpatrick Railway. These events allow people to experience investigations firsthand, blending historical context with active paranormal exploration.

He has previously spoken about his work on The Close Encounters Podcast (Northern Ireland UFO Society), where he has discussed both methodology and personal experiences in the field. That platform gave him a chance to connect with listeners who share a curiosity about the unknown.
