Why didn’t Jesus tells the Jews he was God? | Sam Shamoun

The core belief for christianity is that Jesus came to bring salvation and is known as God in the bible but the question arises since we are aware that he is God by his words and actions why isnt he ever told that he is Yahweh God for himself directly ?

Sam Shamoun makes the point that during the time of Jesus the jews would understand the word for God to be ONLY the father not realizing that the Son who was with him with all creation is also God but not separate but One in unity . Jesus affirms all throughout the gospels pointing out versus in the Old Testament were God is said to only do and applies it to himself, realizing that he did in fact, make clear that he was divine.
