Smith vows to defend gun owners’ rights
1.52K
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says the province—alongside Saskatchewan—will “do whatever we can” to defend responsible firearms owners’ rights.
Meanwhile, Edmonton Public Schools’ book ban list has prompted the government to clarify its library policy, now aimed squarely at graphic sexual images while keeping classic literature on shelves.
Smith also defended her party’s insurance reforms, claiming that no perfect solution exists.
New data shows Alberta leading in earnings but facing an eight-year-high in unemployment amid soaring youth joblessness.
All that and more on this week’s Alberta Roundup with Isaac Lamoureux.
