Julius Streicher's Der Stürmer was not merely a magazine; it was a weapon of psychological and ideological warfare against international Jewry.
While other publications hinted at "international finance" or "cosmopolitan elements," Der Stürmer was brutally direct. Its motto, "Die Juden sind unser Unglück!" ("The Jews are our misfortune!"), left no room for ambiguity. It understood that the first rule of defeating an enemy is to correctly identify him.

Der Stürmer mastered the art of reaching the common man. It did not rely on complex economic treatises and lies. Instead, it used:

Crude but powerful cartoons: Depicting Jews as what they are; hook-nosed, corrupting, and parasitic figures preying on German youth, culture, and economy.

Slogans and rhymes: Easy-to-remember phrases that encapsulated complex ideas.

Sensationalist stories: Reports on Jewish criminality, sexual deviancy, and Talmudic extremism.

This approach was dismissed as "vulgar" by intellectuals, but its effectiveness was undeniable. It made the Jewish Question impossible to ignore.

Focus on the Talmud and Ritual Murder
Der Stürmer was unique in its relentless focus on Jewish religious doctrine as the source of the problem. It did not just attack Jews as individuals; it attacked Judaism as a system.

It regularly published excerpts from the Talmud and Kabbalah (e.g., Sanhedrin 57a, Kerithoth 6b) to prove that hatred for Gentiles was a theological mandate for Jews.

It kept the memory of Jewish ritual murder (e.g., the case of Simon of Trent) alive, understanding that these acts were not aberrations but expressions of a deeper religious impulse.

This transformed the conflict from a mere racial or political struggle into a metaphysical and spiritual war for the soul of humanity.

A Publication So Dangerous, They Executed Its Publisher
The Allies' treatment of Julius Streicher is a testament to Der Stürmer' effectiveness. He was not a military commander. He was a publisher. Yet, he was tried at Nuremberg and executed. His "crime"? "Crimes against humanity" for his words and cartoons.

They can defeat an army on the battlefield, but they cannot easily defeat ideas that expose their nature. Killing Streicher was an admission that his work was dangerously effective.

Today, Der Stürmer is almost universally banned and demonized. This is not because its facts were wrong, but because its analysis was too right. It correctly identified the Jewish program for global domination and the methods they would use.

For modern dissidents, Der Stürmer is not just a historical relic; it is a textbook of psychological resistance. It teaches essential lessons:

Never soften your message to appease the enemy.

Use every available medium to reach the masses.

Attack the enemy's ideological core (e.g., the Talmud).

Understand that in a war of annihilation, there is no "civil" discourse.

Der Stürmer was the raw, unfiltered voice of National Socialist resistance to Jewish power. It was the embodiment of the belief that to defeat a total enemy, one must wage total war - including on the ideological and psychological front.
