Meet Hamilton County, Ohio Judge Ted Berry, who shortly after the assassination of #CharlieKirk took to his social media to mock the murder of Mr. Kirk, saying: “Rest in Hatred & Division!” In another post, he mocked the tragedy by asking, “How’s he feel about gun violence & gun control in Hell, now?” He went even further, writing: “So, a white guy killed him! Color it KARMA!”

Now also meet Hamilton County Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Ryan Nelson, who took to his social media directly after the murder of Charlie Kirk to gloat, saying: “The man essentially gave us all permission to shrug at his death, 0 out of 10 – will not be missed.”

This is absolutely unacceptable! These individuals have no business serving in any capacity where the public depends on their impartiality and sound judgment. Judge Berry has made it abundantly clear he is not sane, competent, or compassionate toward anyone he disagrees with. He has openly shown himself to be hateful, racist, violent, and condoning of violence. Nelson’s public mockery of a murder victim shows an equal level of cruelty, bias, and contempt. Both have shown themselves to be unprofessional and unfit to hold positions of public trust.

It is worth noting this is not the first time Berry’s judgment and integrity have been questioned — he has previously been sanctioned for sexual misconduct, a clear violation of judicial conduct rules.

If a judge can openly celebrate, and that is in fact what he did, the murder of anyone simply because he disagrees with him, how can any citizen walk into his courtroom and trust they will get a fair trial? They cannot! And if a prosecutor openly gloats about a political opponent’s death, how can anyone believe they will seek justice fairly? They cannot! There must be an open investigation immediately into all of their past rulings and cases to determine political and or racial bias.
