REMEMBERING CHARLIE KIRK FOR HIS COURAGE IN HIS FAITH

A message I posted to my family and friends on FB this morning…
Now that I’ve had a day to vent and process my shock, anger, and deep sadness over the political assassination of Charlie, I think it’s important to share a few things with you.
First, I’d like to clarify my use of the word “Democrats.” Generally, when I use this term I am referring to the political institution (DNC) and its leaders/operatives. Not you, my friends and family who still think the Democrat Party is noble. Notably, my father was a Democrat and I am a former Liberal.
There was a time Liberals and Conservatives agreed on our core American values and the US Constitution. In fact, Liberals created Superman; “Truth, Justice, and the American way.” The principal debates between them were centered around social and military intervention.
This changed in my lifetime.
Sadly, Leftism, not to be confused with Liberalism, has long infiltrated the Democrat Party and subsumed the Liberal platform. Leftism is radically anti Christ, anti American, anti Capitalism, pro Marxism/Socialism/Communism, factional, racially polarizing, militantly divisive, insidious, and objectively evil. History is pretty clear about the threat Leftism poses to free thinkers, free speakers, and free societies.
Leftism assassinated Charlie.
There is no getting around the gravity of this. Party wide, it has impacted Christians and Conservatives in a way I’ve never seen before. Especially the youth he principally defended and represented.
The trusty oppositional tolerance of the once silent majority is no more.
Too many on the outside looking in, this energy is a very scary reality. To others, it is a call to action, as there is a massive exodus out of the Democrat Party happening in America right now due to the murder of Charlie and the left’s wide spread celebration of it.
On its face, celebrating the political assassination of a peacefully dissenting husband and father is not normal. In fact, it’s a symptom of deep spiritual sickness. This sickness is a common trait among leftists. This is why you can find droves of videos of them, in the most disturbing and disgusting ways, attacking street preachers when they rally.
The intensity of their hate towards Christianity in these displays feels demonic. Just like Charlie’s murder.

Truthfully, I do not have a sense right now for how all of this will unfold. I do know that we are living in a much different America now and that the shift isn’t temporary. I know politically there is only one uniting mission now for Conservatives. Total eradication of the radical left from power and influence. This is what I mean by, “scorched earth.”
The Democrat Party, a powerful, well-funded leftist-controlled institution, is now responsible for two attempted assassinations of a US President and the successful assassination of a nationally beloved Christian Conservative that empowered our youth and was a major force in the re-election of the President they failed to assassinate.
Charlie’s crime? Peacefully and effectively debating people who hated him and inspiring others to do the same.
As a new father, it haunts me to know that Charlie’s son is too young to remember him and that once the chaos broke out from his kill shot, Charlie’s daughter ran from her mother to him because she was scared. Utterly heartbreaking to process.
In murdering Charlie they martyred him. In martyring him they made our movement stronger than it has ever been. Now, nothing can stop what is coming. Nothing.
