Old locks🔒 out, new locks in — fresh keys🔑 for a fresh start🏡✅!

Today I changed out the knobs and deadbolts on this property to make sure the incoming tenant has a fresh set of working keys. This is one of the most important steps in preparing a rental home.

Here’s the process I followed:

🔧 Removed the old knobs and deadbolts (never trust that the last set of keys covers everything).

🛠️ Installed brand-new locks for security and compliance.

🔑 Confirmed that the new keys work perfectly in all doors.

🧹 Verified the only thing left is a final cleaning before move-in.

💡 Why it matters:

Tenants must always have secure and working access to their rental — it’s a legal and safety requirement.

Changing locks between tenants protects both the homeowner and the new tenant.

It also shows professionalism and builds trust that the property is ready and secure on day one.

👉 Now this home is one step away from move-in ready. Once the cleaning is finished, it’ll be fully prepped and waiting for its new resident.
